Access to the Associated Press Daybook is available through the Factiva database.
To access the Daybook:

  1. Begin by accessing the Factiva database: https://www.columbia.edu/cgi-bin/cul/resolve?AUQ3920
  2. In the Free Search box, type: nyc daybook
  3. Scroll down to More Options and expand its menu of options.
  4. Deselect “Obituaries, sports, calendars…” This ensures newswires will be included in the search.
  5. Click “Search”.

Results will be organized by most recent release, in descending order. The day book will NOT show up in the results unless the above conditions are met.
You can repeat this process for the Washington D.C. Daybook by replacing nyc with dc in the Free Search box.
